So I'll just post some ideas here as well as what we bought.
Maddy
She asked for "An easy bake oven, a violin, and a pony (and all the stuff you need to have a pony)
I'll be honest. We are not buying any of those items. Please note, if you buy her a pony, you have to include someone to muck out the stall.
She really wants:
*She loves to sing along with music, but
*A scooter (or gift card toward said purchase)
*books (she has read all the Junie B books and can finish one in about an hour-hopefully that helps you find ones that are her level. She has not read the Little House books yet but likes the Color/Weather/Pet Fairies and Magic Treehouse. We bought her the DollHouse series-I know she tested at 2nd or 3rd grade level, but is still a bit young in interest level.)
*Baby doll clothes. (she has a 18" doll similar to the original (chubbier) American Girl dolls and a cabbage patch doll.)
*
Art Supplies
*WARM TIGHTS! She outgrew all of her tights!
Connor
He loves legos. And Books.
We bought him a mega lego set and some books. He loves books. I'd tell you what he wants, but he reads too fast to keep up with his newest favorites. He just read the Narnia books and about 4 other series. He's about 8-10th grade in ability, but only about 6-9th in interest.
He had a growth spurt again. He went from a size 11/12 shoe in May to a size 3 in October.
Matt-Books or gift cards for books. GTO parts-floor mats that say GTO? Movies? He is hard to shop for....he is biking a lot to work and for PT so hopefully that helps!
ME!
I have no idea. Sorry. Workout clothes? A water belt for long runs. Like this or this
A smaller carry camera? A fun Music mix for running? A camera something? Sorry. Ask Matt.
Yeah! Christmas is coming! Yesterday I was baking chex mix (which is a christmas tradition for our famiily) I make myself wait until November 1st every year! I can't wait. A couple of notes about an Arizona Christmas: 1 - it won't be white, it will be brown (but you can wear shorts! :)) 2- Do not buy a real tree until the first weekend of December at the ABSOLUTE earliest! If you get it any earlier it will be brown, dead and crispy (and a fire hazard) by christmas day. Have a great Christmas! We love you guys!
