We decided that on Christmas Eve we would go see the Hobbit. The kids loved it and both agreed that it didn't feel like it was 3 hours long…it didn't feel long enough!
Maddy leaned over during the movie and whispered…"Mom, this feels weird. Hobbits have nothing to do with Christmas. It's strange to celebrate this way."
But fortunately for her, we did our traditional celebrations as well. The kids both memorized a number of verses from Luke 2 and recited them many many times!
