Calvin and Hobbes

I was really excited last year when the kids said they wanted to team up and be Calvin and Hobbes for Halloween….and even more excited when they never changed their minds! Connor was dissapointed that his hair looked more green than yellow….even after I went all over town looking for yellow hair spray. Matt said that next time we will just bleach his hair blonde and dye it yellow….I don't think so. Maddy had a VERY last minute costume. Even though I knew about the costumes for a long time….I procrastinated. I finally finished it the morning before Halloween. Just in time for the ward trunk or treat! It didn't take long and it wasn't really hard, but I just never got motivated. Fortunately, she loved it. Connor has worn his shirt to school every chance he gets. I suppose it's okay…I drew pretty straight lines!
