Connor just walked up to me and gave me a big hug. (I love how he just randomly hugs me!)
He told me, "Mom, Thanks for signing me up at Brookhaven. Do you think there are any other schools that get to do cool experiments?"
"Mrs. Adam's is the coolest teacher EVER!"
I am so happy that my son is enjoying school. The last few years have been more babysitting than learning and I decided that he deserved more. I applied to transfer him to an amazing school with a wonderful teacher. (Who happens to be the RS President and a pretty fantastic person)
For the first time, I feel like he is being challenged and going to learn so much this year. I think that spending 1 1/2 hours in the car every day driving to and from school will be well worth it.
My boy loves school. Hooray!
That's great! I think one of the most important decisions we make as moms is how our kids will be educated. Good job seeking out what you think is best for him and sacrificing for it! :)
